Virtual School Psychologist
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, including cognitive and emotional assessments, to identify students' strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide counseling and support to students dealing with emotional and behavioral issues.
- Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts.
- Conduct remote sessions with students to address their specific needs and goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies to support students' academic and emotional well-being.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and teletherapy.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- State licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in K-12 settings.
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and experience in developing and implementing IEPs.
- Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and digital assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Dedicated, reliable, and adaptable to remote work environments.
