City of Chicago- Public Health Administrator-STI Surveillance


A Public Health Administrator is needed in Chicago, IL for a full-time position. The ideal candidate would be flexible with their work schedule and have the ability to pass a background check and drug test upon starting the position. Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a relative field supplemented by two years of progressively responsible experience in the administration of public health programs, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 

  • Some knowledge of infectious diseases and medical terminology 

  • At least 5+ years of previous disease investigation skills with experience specific to HIV/STI and an emphasis on congenital syphilis prevention and elimination 

  • Team Lead or Management experience preferred but not required

Job Details: 

  • 35 Hour work weeks 

  • 8am-4pm 

  • Monday-Friday position
