Certified Surgical Technologist - Birmingham, Alabama - 8 weeks - Days - 36 Hours

Position: Certified Surgical Tech

Unit: Operating Room   

Location: Birmingham, AL

There is a Level I Trauma facility in Birmingham, Alabama actively interviewing for an experienced Certified Surgical Tech (CST). This is a 8-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Assignment Details:

• 8 Weeks
• Days
• 36 hours per week  
  • 6 AM -6:30 PM
• Possible extension based on performance

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Degree from a Surgical Technology program preferred but not required
• BLS
• NBSTA required

Required for Interview:

• Current Professional Resume
• Clinical References
• 2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

• Set up and break down Sterile Field
• Perform an accurate instrument count
• Anticipate the needs of the surgeon
• Communicate needs with O.R team
