Job Description

Position: Surgical Tech

Unit: Operating Room - Neuro

Location: Birmingham, AL

There is a facility in Birmingham, AL actively interviewing for an experienced Surgical Tech with Neuro (head and spines) experience. This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of extending. Possible extension based on performance

Education and Certification Requirements:

Degree from a Surgical Technology program preferred but not required
BLS

Required for Interview:

Current Professional Resume
Clinical References
2 recent years of experience on the unit

Job Duties

Set up and break down Sterile Field
Perform an accurate instrument count
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon
Communicate needs with O.R team
