Location: Near Kiger Island, Oregon

Type: Full-time, Contract

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: End of School Year

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and work with 60 students at a school near Kiger Island, Oregon. This is a full-time contract position that will last through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

Work with students to develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
Use evidence-based interventions and strategies to help students develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills needed for independent and productive lives.
Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and other team members.
Work collaboratively with the occupational therapist and other members of the educational team to ensure the needs of the students are met.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Requirements:

Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
Active certification as a COTA from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Valid Oregon state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
