Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – School District Contract (2024-2025 School Year)

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTA) for contract positions within a school district for the 2024-2025 school year. This position offers guaranteed hours, weekly compensation, & a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Details:

  • License Requirement: California Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License
  • Start Date: ASAP (flexible) 
  • Caseload: Pre K -12th grade 
  • Weekly Hours Available: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)  or Part-Time (10-29 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students
  • Provide indirect therapy services, offering guidance and consultation to teachers and staff
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure the success of each student
