Job Description

Sunbelt staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Nurse to join our team on a travel basis in Jackson, Mississippi.  


  • 13 weeks
  • Varied shifts


  1. Patient Care:

    • Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
    • Monitor patients' vital signs, assess their condition, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  2. Assist in Procedures:

    • Assist physicians in the preparation and performance of cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures.
    • Operate and manage specialized equipment in the cath lab.
  3. Patient Education:

    • Educate patients and their families about the catheterization procedure, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
    • Address any concerns or questions, ensuring informed consent.


  • Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Licensure: Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Certification in cardiac catheterization or critical care nursing is a plus.
