Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a Cath Lab RN in Roswell, New Mexico. Travel experience is preferred, but newcomers are welcome to apply. This is a 13 week travel contract but possible extension may be available towards the end of the assignment.

Requirements:

  • New Mexico RN Licensed
  • BLS
  • ACLS/CPR
  • 2 years experience
  • Shift will be discussed in interview 

Responsibilities:

  1. Procedure Preparation: Prepare the cardiac catheterization lab and ensure all necessary equipment, supplies, and medications are available and sterile before procedures.

  2. Patient Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

  3. Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' vital signs, including ECG, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during procedures and respond promptly to any changes or abnormalities.

  4. Assisting the Cardiologist: Provide support to the cardiologist during catheterization procedures by passing instruments and supplies, as well as operating imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy) to visualize the cardiac structures.

  5. Radiation Safety: Ensure the safe operation of radiation equipment and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
