Job Description

Are you an experienced and dedicated Cath Lab Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in Billings, Montana? We are currently hiring for a 13-week contract position with the potential for extension. As a Cath Lab Nurse at our state-of-the-art medical facility, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients during cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the cardiac care team to assist in a variety of cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes during day shifts and call rotations.
Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and provide thorough post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, patient responses, and any relevant information, adhering to all regulatory standards.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure immediate response to emergencies and urgent procedures.
Utilize strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills to assess patients and provide appropriate interventions during complex procedures.

Qualifications:

Active RN license and a minimum of two years of recent, relevant experience in cardiac catheterization procedures.
Proficiency in monitoring patients during cardiac procedures and familiarity with cath lab equipment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the medical team.
Availability for day shifts and participation in call rotations as required by the contract.
BLS and ACLS certifications are essential.
