California, MD: Special Education Teacher - Full Time Job

I am seeking a Special Education Teacher who is available for the remaining school year for a Full Time job located near California, MD.  This contract position is working full time, 37.5 hours per week. Possibility of renewal for next school year based on positive work performance review. 

In this position, the Special Education Teacher will be working at one, possibility two, school locations with students in Middle and High school grades. Disabilities primarily include Emotionally Impaired and learning disabilities. The duties of the Special Education Teacher would be primarily student assessments and collaboration with other teachers to design instructional support materials for students. Each classroom has Paraprofessional help.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or Education with concentration in Special Education
• Must have a valid MD state Special Education Teacher Certificate 
• Previous teaching experience is preferred
