Job Description

Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

We are currently seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team and provide support for students in two Autism classrooms in an Elementary School near Westport, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Behavioral Disorders (BD) and will be able to provide effective behavior analysis and intervention services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with ASD and BD
  • Train and supervise classroom staff on behavior intervention strategies and data collection methods
  • Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior interventions and adjust strategies as needed
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to classroom staff to ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior intervention strategies

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Experience working with students with ASD and BD in a school setting
  • Experience conducting FBAs and developing BIPs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
