Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist

We are currently hiring in the Chicago, IL area for a bilingual (English/Spanish) school-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity. This full time speech language pathologist position will work with children in grades K-8 at multiple schools. Thus, the ideal candidate should be very comfortable traveling/working between several locations. The bilingual speech language pathologist should be fluent in both English and Spanish and should be a “team player” within the several school settings.
The approximate caseload is still to be determined, but the candidate should be comfortable working with children with mild to moderate disabilities.
Job requirements:
-Develop and follow IEP goals
-Foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents
-Develop/utilize creative intervention strategies to improve students’ speech competence
Illinois Speech Language Pathologist license and an Illinois Type 73 (PEL) are both required.
