Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and interactive instruction in auto mechanics to high school students.
Develop comprehensive curriculum materials and lesson plans aligned with industry standards.
Provide practical demonstrations and guide students through hands-on automotive repair projects.
Foster collaborative discussions and workshops to deepen students' understanding of automotive concepts.
Assess student performance, provide feedback on assignments and projects, and track progress.
Collaborate with fellow educators and industry professionals to stay updated on industry trends and teaching methodologies.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student success and professional growth.

Requirements:

Extensive experience as an auto mechanic, ideally holding ASE certifications.
In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Strong communication and presentation skills suitable for in-person instruction.
Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or training within an automotive context.
High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in auto mechanics is advantageous.
Passion for using hands-on approaches to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
Dedication to providing quality education and supporting students in their career aspirations.
