 6th-8th Grade Special Education Teacher Opportunity- Bath, ME w/ Benefits 

Sunbelt is seeking a licensed Special Education teacher near Bath, ME. This Special Education teacher would be working full time for the remainder of the school year. Please reach out to the hiring manager, Jewel Norris, at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities
  • Use evidence-based practices to facilitate academic, social, and emotional growth for students with disabilities
  • Provide direct instruction and support in small group and individual settings
  • Monitor and track student progress to ensure effective interventions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Maine State Special Education Certification- 6th-8th
  • Maine teaching certificate 
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
  • Possess excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Job Details:

  • 35 hours/week or part-time (flexible)
  • On-Site
  • 6th- 8th grade Students
