Job Description

Sunbelt is looking to hire an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Downieville, CO, for the 23/24 school year. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate OT goals into students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and prepare progress reports for IEP meetings
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff regarding strategies to enhance students' functional abilities in the classroom environment

Job Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado OT License
  • Master's degree in OT from an accredited program
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including IDEA and IEP processes
