Job Description

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Newark, New York

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at a top-tier healthcare facility in Pocatello, Idaho. As an OR RN, you will work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients prior to surgery • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement individualized care plans • Administer medications and anesthesia as needed • Monitor patients during surgery and ensure their safety and comfort • Document patient care and update medical records • Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in New York • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred • BLS and ACLS certification • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexibility to work various shifts and be on-call as needed.
