Job Posting: Digital School Psychologist (Tennessee) - K-12

Are you a skilled and compassionate School Psychologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students? VocoVision, a leading teletherapy provider, is currently looking for a dedicated Digital School Psychologist to join our team in Tennessee. This is a remote, 1099 contract position that allows you to work from the comfort of your home while providing essential services to students with mild to moderate diagnoses.

Responsibilities: As a Digital School Psychologist, you will be responsible for collaborating with school teams, parents, and students to support the academic, social, and emotional development of K-12 students. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine students' academic and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement effective interventions and strategies.
  • Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and providing valuable input to support the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
  • Providing virtual counseling and support to students dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of school-wide positive behavior support programs.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • State of Tennessee School Psychologist license or ability to obtain one.
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
  • Familiarity with conducting assessments, evaluations, and writing comprehensive reports.
  • Knowledge of IEP development and implementation processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
  • Technologically proficient with virtual communication tools and platforms.
