REQUIREMENTS: Qualified Candidate MUST hold a Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy. Candidate will also be required to hold an Occupational Therapy License for the State of North Carolina. Candidate MUST be certified through the NBCOT.
School District in Jacksonville, North Carolina has an immediate need for a Licensed Occupational Therapist. This school job runs throughout the entire school year. This position is full time (37.5 hours). Candidate will be required to float to various schools, approximately four (4). One Preschool, Two Elementary Schools and one Middle School, with mileage and travel time paid.

Candidate will be expected to perform General OT Duties such as planning, working and in coordination with other ESE teachers and ancillary personnel in planning and developing the program. Therapist will have the direct support of a Certified Occupational Therapist and will be responsible for supervising COTA. Approximate caseload is under 40 and disabilities mostly mild to moderate with a few severely disabled. Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluations and supervising a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. COTA will work under the OT and will be available for assistants if needed.
