Full Time Educational Diagnostician Job in Spring, TX

Spring, TX - We are seeking a full time Educational Diagnostician for a job at a local school district. The primary purposed of the Educational Diagnostician is to implement the special education assessment process, assess the educational, learning styles and program needs of students referred to special education services, to provide diagnostic information and work cooperatively with instructional personnel to provide the most appropriate programs for students with disabilities


  • Master's Degree in Educational Assessment or equivalent
  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician Certificate

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Receive student referrals and implement assessment and evaluation process
  • Select and administer formal and informal assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
  • Collect and organize relevant assessment data 
  • Conduct classroom observation and personal interviews
  • Coordinate and participate in Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist with interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement and development of Individual Education Plans
  • Assist classroom teachers with implementation of IEP
