Elementary School Psychologist Job Opening: Anaheim, CA


Interviews are currently being scheduled for the Elementary School Psychologist job opening for the up coming school year in Anaheim, CA. The position would be an average case load of students who experience mild-moderate disabilities. The school psych would utilize their previous experience and training in providing direct services to students. The school psychologist would be responsible to test and observe students in order to understand what direct services they need in order to have the optimum educational experience.
Collaboration with students, families and fellow educators will be a necessary part of the job. The school Psychologist will participate in assessments, IEP meetings, consultations, evaluations, as well as participating in other duties. They will be responsible for communicating with the special education director, teachers, administration and parents in order to promote a supportive and positive learning environment for every student. The school Psychologist will ultimately act as a liaison between school, community, and home life. Identification of students for special education program in a collaborative team setting will be required.
Must hold an active CA School Psychologist license/credential and be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
