Clinic Practice Lead - Emergency Department
Currently seeking a full time permanent clinic practice lead in the ER for a facility in Charleston, South Carolina. The advanced knowledge and skills required for this role include clinical expertise in emergency nursing, evidence-based practice, collaboration, consultation, education, mentoring, and change leadership. These are essential to advance the practice of nursing and the professional development of nurses. The specialized knowledge and skills are used within three major areas of focus: patient/family, nurses and nursing practice, and the organization/system. The CPL coordinates and guides clinical activities/projects of nurses within the Emergency Department. The CPL is accountable for collaborating with members of the health care team to design, implement, and measure safe, cost-effective, evidence-based care strategies. The CPL is responsible for increasing clinical competency of staff in their environment.
Education: Masters Degree in Nursing is required. If not present on hire, must enroll in graduate program within 12 months of hire.
Licensure/Certification: Current license as a registered Nurse to practice in the State of South Carolina. Preferred certification in emergency nursing.
Experience: Hospital nursing experience in a specialty area preferred. Experience should include responsibilities as a staff nurse, preceptor, or leader with demonstrated ability in management, leadership and communication skills with unique adult teaching abilities. Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities.\
